History
Diphu's first English-medium school
Union Christian English School was established in 1968 under the Karbi Anglong Joint Christian Committee, a collaborative body of the Presbyterian Church of Mizoram and the Baptist Churches in Karbi Anglong. After KAJCC was dissolved and KABC was formed in 1980, KABC assumed responsibility for the school's management and administration.

Learning with formation
As Diphu's first English-medium school, UCES has educated generations of leaders, professionals, and community contributors among the Karbi and other indigenous peoples of Karbi Anglong.
Student Residency Programme
Carvel Memorial Girls' Hostel and Moore Memorial Boys' Hostel
The residency programme exists so rural and tribal children can study seriously, grow safely, stay close to culture and family connection, and receive care, mentoring, discipline, values formation, and practical skills.
