Overview

Diphu Tyrannus Hall is a Residency Leadership Program of the Karbi Anglong Baptist Convention, in partnership with Tyrannus Hall Educational Trust. It exists to train, disciple, and equip young men to become academically excellent, spiritually grounded, morally strong, and socially responsible leaders.

Tyrannus Hall Diphu is a home with a purpose: a residential leadership programme where students are mentored, discipled, and equipped through partnership between KABC and Tyrannus Hall Educational Trust.

The residency brings together spiritual formation, leadership training, academic support, multicultural community life, character formation, sports, wellness, and disciplined study so students can grow as whole persons.

Our Campus

A peaceful residential setting in Diphu

Situated near Diphu Baptist Church and opposite Aqua-centric Park, Tyrannus Hall provides a residential environment designed to support study, community life, and personal formation.

Devotion

Daily worship, prayer, Scripture reflection, and Christian character formation are woven into the rhythm of life, encouraging students to develop a lasting relationship with God.

Theological Lectures

Students are introduced to biblical foundations and Christian thought through regular lectures, discussions, and mentoring that strengthen both faith and understanding.

Physical Fitness

Healthy bodies support healthy minds. Recreation, exercise, and disciplined living encourage resilience, teamwork, and lifelong wellbeing.

Outreach

Learning is expressed through service. Students are encouraged to engage with churches and communities, putting faith into practice through acts of compassion and leadership.

Academic Excellence

Students are supported to pursue academic excellence with diligence, discipline, and integrity while preparing for future leadership and service.

Admissions

Eligibility

Admissions are for professing Christian full-time students in Higher Secondary, Bachelor's, or Master's programmes who desire to grow in faith and service.

Application

Prospectus and application forms are available from the Chaplain's Office or the KABC Office on payment of Rs. 150.00.

Admission process

Applicants must agree to community standards and appear for interview before the Local Management Board, which holds final selection authority. Admission is annual and requires reapplication each academic year.
