Flood Relief Distribution Reaches Families in Sildhorompur and Dokmoka

Relief distribution on July 29, 2026 supported 134 flood-affected households in Hori Taro Village, Sildhorompur, and Etpo Taro Village, Dokmoka.

After days of heavy rainfall, flash floods affected parts of Karbi Anglong, including Sildhorompur and Dokmoka. Homes and property were damaged, and families needed immediate assistance.

On July 29, 2026, the CBCNEI Relief and Development Department, supported by APBAid and working with KABC and NKBA, distributed emergency relief to 134 households: 124 in Hori Taro Village, Sildhorompur, and 10 in Etpo Taro Village, Dokmoka.

The relief packages included food and household essentials such as rice, dal, potatoes, edible oil, soya chunks, bathing soap, phenyl disinfectant, mosquito nets, and tarpaulins.
