Training on Organization Governance

KABC organized a four-day Training on Organization Governance from August 19–22, 2024, at the Jirsong Asong Training Centre, Rongkhelan, Diphu. The programme was attended by 25 leaders from KABC member church associations. The training was facilitated by CA Vijay Ponneri and CA Chittaranjan and focused on strengthening participants' understanding of organizational governance, financial management and statutory compliance. Sessions covered the basics of accounting, types of entities for NGOs, compliances under the Income Tax Act, 1961, the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), personal finance and Biblical principles of finance. The programme equipped participating leaders with practical knowledge to strengthen responsible administration, financial stewardship and compliance within their respective organizations.
