Human Trafficking Awareness Programme at Chokihola

KABC conducted a Human Trafficking Awareness Programme at Chokihola, Karbi Anglong, on June 28, 2025, continuing its community-level efforts to raise awareness and strengthen the prevention of human trafficking.
The programme sought to increase understanding of the risks associated with human trafficking and encourage greater vigilance among families, churches and communities. Community awareness and collective responsibility remain important in identifying risks and protecting vulnerable persons from exploitation.
Through awareness programmes conducted in different communities, KABC continues to encourage local participation in the prevention of human trafficking and the promotion of safer communities.
