6th KABC Youth Sports Meet 2026 Held at Edenbari

The 6th Karbi Anglong Baptist Convention (KABC) Youth Sports Meet was held from October 2 to 4, 2026, at Edenbari, Baithalangso. Organized by the KABC Youth Department and hosted by Edenbari Baptist Church under the Nijang Karbi Baptist Association (NJKBA), the three-day event brought together youths from various Baptist associations across Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong, Sonapur, and Dima Hasao. The Sports Meet aimed to promote spiritual growth, fellowship, unity, and holistic youth development through sports and meaningful engagement. A key objective was to encourage young people to adopt healthy and constructive lifestyles, particularly in addressing growing social challenges such as drug abuse and addiction. The event also provided a platform for identifying and nurturing sporting talents while fostering discipline, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and mutual respect among participants. Beyond sporting competitions, the gathering strengthened fellowship among the youths, encouraged positive social interaction, and promoted personal growth, character development, and a sense of responsibility towards society. The 6th KABC Youth Sports Meet reflected KABC's commitment to holistic development, recognizing that spiritual well-being, physical fitness, mental resilience, and social responsibility are equally important in nurturing a healthy, capable, and responsible younger generation.
